have you ever wonder that there is a possibility that one day you might come across a fish which has just tried to bungee jump and landed on the floor?What will you do if it faint right in front of your eyes?What if there's nobody around except you..and the fish?Gulp**
If so,no worry!!All you need to do are these :)
1) Call for response.Example:''Fish,fish!!Are you okay?Can you hear me?!Can you hear me?!?!~Shake it with both your hands.
2)If to no response,firstly lie the fish on a flat and clean surface~away from any possible danger.Example:Any electricity source.
3)Then gently,head tilt,chin lift the fish head.Check for ABC(Airway Breathing Circulation)
4)Pout your lips and gently seal it over the fish's to give it 2 blows.
(Warning 1:Not too hard as it's capacity would not be able to withstand the volume of your exhale air.Or else,you will be end up bowing a balloon instead!)
5)After that,observe the rise and fall of the fish's chest as you feel for it's breath against your cheek.Feel for pulse.If to no avail,proceed immediately to do chest compression.I repeat,proceed immediately.There is no time to spare!
6)Locate the middle rib of the fish,just along the intercostal line.
7)Place two fingers over the targeted spot and give it 10 gentle but firm compression.
(Warning 2:Do not OVER-COMPRESS the ribs as the fish is frail.You do not want to end up and get caught in a sticky situation with both your fingers stuck between the broken ribs by the trees.)
8)Then,continue with another two blows as you check for ABC.
(Warning 3:Please control yourself as ABC may cause addiction to certain humans)
9)Check for pulse
10)If the fish stuttered alive,then CONGRATULATIONS!!You have now mastered the skills of Fish CPR.If fail otherwise,please do not despair for there will be another chance in the future.Practice makes perfect.Psst:Just climb over to your neighbour :)
Caution:The fish stands only a 50-50% chance of survival.The other 50% of failure may due to:
(a)Your over-passionate of burning kiss
(b)Mistreating the fish's lungs as balloons
(c)Not brushing teeth for a year
(d)Maybe the fish did come back alive but died of a heart attack upon seeing who resuscitated it.
